World Assemblies of God Fellowship Day of Prayer – May 27
This Sunday, May 27, is the World Assemblies of God Fellowship Day of Prayer. Please consider the following prayer points as you pray for God’s direction and blessing upon the Assemblies of God worldwide.
PRAYER GUIDE
- Pray for God’s continued blessing upon the World Assemblies of God Fellowship (WAGF) comprised of 150 Assemblies of God Fellowships worldwide representing more than 300,000 churches and a membership of more than 64 million believers.
- Pray for God’s wisdom and the enablement of the Holy Spirit upon the leadership of the WAGF general councils around the world.
- Pray that the WAGF members will bear strong testimony to the distinctive truths of the full gospel of Jesus Christ.
- Pray for renewed commitment to fulfill the Lord’s command to evangelize the lost in the shortest possible time.
- Pray for a measurable increase in personnel and resources being sent out by the member missions programs among the least-reached peoples.
- Pray for increased unity and partnership among the various Fellowship members so that church planting and evangelism efforts will have maximum impact worldwide.
- Pray for the persecuted church that God’s hand of protection will be upon the believers. Pray for continued growth despite persecution and that the strength of persecution will be diminished.
- Pray for God’s blessing upon Vision 2020 seeking to establish 500,000 churches with 100 million believers by Year 2020.
- Pray for God’s blessing upon the Seventh Triennial World Assemblies of God Congress that will convene August 7-10, 2014, in Springfield, Missouri. Pray that AG leaders from every country will attend and bring young leaders with them.
