“Let’s Create the Future through Prayer”.
The possibilities of prayer are enormous. Prayer is not mere asking or seeking; but being creative!
Intercession, which is symbolic of conceiving and giving birth, also involves declaration of decrees over nations, circumstances and people resulting in God making certain shifts in the spiritual realm to usher in His Kingdom purposes on earth.
Intercessors believe that events in the natural are first birthed in the spiritual realm; a sphere which noe ordinary people can access except by intercessors! The ability to speak to things which are in the invisible realm is the power of creative intercession.
Missionary prayer therefore must have the DNA of the faith of Abraham, to whom the first Global Missionary mandate was given saying “In you all the Nations shall be blessed”.
When one enters into the realm of intercession for Missions, they enter the enormous, boundless realm of God’s vision for the world which Abraham inherited.
According to Galatians 3:8, this was the missionary call that Abraham embraced:
“And the Scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the Gentiles by faith, preached the gospel to Abraham beforehand, saying, “In you all the nations shall be blessed.” So then those who are of faith are blessed with believing Abraham”.
To be blessed with believing Abraham, there two key components are the ability to ‘call those things which do not exist as they are’ and to “speak hope to contrary situations”.
“Whom he believed–God, who gives life to the dead and calls those things which do not exist as though they did; who, contrary to hope, in hope believed, so that he became the father of many nations”. (Romans 4;17,18)
In 2013, let us begin to make decrees over continents and nations which will pave the way to see a great movement of people into the Kingdom. In fact, this is the Kingdom invading spheres and cultures which have not been penetrated before, just as Jesus said: “From the days of John the Baptist until now, the kingdom of heaven has been forcefully advancing, and forceful men lay hold of it.”
“Can it be that a great work for God involving thousands of souls
devolves upon our prayer life-half a world away?”
