”The earth is the Lord’s, and all its fullness”. Psalm 24:1
It is said that “God can do without us, but He will not do without us”.
God in His sovereign choice has decided to use human instruments to fulfill His purposes on earth. This privilege is given primarily in the context of Prayer and Intercession.
This is why the first priority in the Lord’s Prayer is to ask: “Your Kingdom come, and your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.” This is a great privilege reserved for the Intercessors.
Because we believe that God is the Creator of the World, we also must believe that He is actively involved in what happens in this World. The Psalmist affirms this by declaring: “The earth is the Lord’s, and all its fullness, the world and those who dwell therein”. Therefore God’s children have the privilege of owning and ruling it.
The world does not belong to the devil or anyone else. Its destiny is given to God’s children who are ‘joint-heirs with Christ. This is why Intercession is a privilege we have to be involved with the Father in His business on earth.
Intercession as Father’s Business on Earth.
When Jesus visited the Temple in Jerusalem, on both occasions He specifically emphasized His involvement in ‘Father’s business.’
First, when at the age of 12, when His parents lost him and were fanatically looking for Him, He said:
“Why did you seek Me? Did you not know that I must be about My Father’s business?” (Luke 2:49)
In the modern-day Church, it is possible for many to seek Jesus fanatically in prayer just like His parents did, and yet, not be involved in the Father’s Business.
Second, during His ministry in Jerusalem, He cleansed the temple from ‘other businesses’ and said that:
“My house shall be called a house of prayer for all nations” (Mark 11:17).
Therefore, prayer for ‘all nations’ must take priority over all other matters and needs in prayer.
“House of Prayer for All Nations.”
We want to specifically focus on Nations because the church has the mandate to influence ‘All Nations’ through the Great Commission. Therefore, instead of being passive spectators of world events and allowing history nations to be shaped by decisions of secular politicians, military dictators, religious fanatics, radical extremists, avaricious financiers, and rabid terrorist organizations, we should be vigorously involved in intercession to transform the Nations. This is the task of Missions, which is advancing the Kingdom of God in every nation on earth.
Today you are the Temple of God on earth! Your life is literally a House of Prayer for All Nations! Wherever you are, there is the House of Prayer! Begin to cultivate the presence of the Holy Spirit at all times so that you can influence Nations through your intercession.
God’s Perspective of the World.
The objective of this Prayer Network is to see the world from God’s perspective and mobilize Intercessors around the globe to align themselves with Heaven’s agenda through intercession.
Like In the times of Isaiah, the events and secular media distort our view to accept the realities around us as the status quo. But when he lifted up his eyes and saw the “Lord high and lifted up”, he heard what the angels in heaven saw about the earth. And one cried to another and said:
“Holy, holy, holy is the Lord of hosts;
The whole earth is full of His glory!” Isaiah 6:3
The whole Earth is full of His Glory!
This view of heaven is what Intercessors on earth must agree and say:
“Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.” Matthew 6:10!
Let’s view God’s world from the Owner’s perspective to pray and intercede for the World.
“For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord as the waters cover the sea.” Habbakuk 2:14.
