Three Miracles in Syria.

What is happening in Syria Today?

The Biblical accounts of Syrian miracles and encounters are more numerous than those of any other neighboring nations of Israel. They resonate with modern-day events like the ‘Fall of Assad in Syria’ last weekend, which has stunned the world! The ousting of one of the most brutal regimes of 50 years – after a prolonged 13-year civil war –  in just 12 days is nothing short of a miracle!

Miracles in Syria.
God does not perform ‘magic’ to impress the world, but ‘miracles’ that reveal His nature and character and His ultimate purposes for Nations. Therefore, Intercessors must view current events through a broader prophetic lens than what the media portrays.
The events that followed in lighting speed since we requested prayer last week for the safety of Christians in the Syrian city of Aleppo is an answer from God beyond our imagination (Eph 3:20), bringing freedom to all Syrian people!
Such events that baffle the world result from many years of intercession accumulated in heaven as “golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints.” (See Revelation 5:8, 8:3 how they impact the earth)
This Prayer Network has mobilized prayer for Syria since 2011, and your intercession contributed to this.  See posts: ‘Does God Have a Plan for Syria?’
Can a Nation be Born in a Day?

Two Unique Syrian Miracles in Biblical Times.

God’s dealings with Syria are contrary to our assumptions because although He gave victory to Israel in military conquests over Syrians, He also blessed that nation with two key miracles.
First, amidst Syria’s brutal suppression and slavery of Israel, God used the very victim slave girl to bring healing to the military chief, Naaman (2 Kings 5:7).
Again, the Syrian king’s great army was sent to Samaria to capture Elisha and were supernaturally blinded by God. Yet, instead of having  them killed as Israel desired, God showed mercy and “set food and water before them, that they may eat and drink and go to their master.” ‘(II Kings 6:14,22).
Therefore, understanding God’s dealings with Syria requires Intercession with both information and revelation.
