Praise Report – First South East Asia Missions Prayer Summit.

We praise God for this significant Missions Prayer event organized by the Missions Directors and leaders from the South East Asia Region of the Assemblies of God.

150 Delegates from 11 Nations in the Southeast Asia Region united in heart and spirit to Intercede for the peoples in Asia!
Intercessors from Brunei, China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Mongolia, and the USA.
“Ask of Me, and I will make the nations your heritage, and the ends of the earth your possession! (Psalm 2:8)

The Prayer Summit for the nations was birthed in the 2024 South East Asia AG Annual Fellowship in Manila. The missions directors felt the urgency to mobilize and raise up intercessors for the nations and UPGs. We had plans to hold it in South Korea or Indonesia in 2025. But God directed us to Brunei for his sovereign purpose.

Special pray focus was on the Regions and the Nations of Central Asia, North Asia, South East Asia,  North East Asia, South Asia, and Central Asia

The Missions Directors and General Superintendents from North Asia and North East Asia also participated in the Prayer sessions.

Going Forward:

The Missions Directors convened together to dicusss future plans going on from this Prayer Summit.

1. We can help to change mindsets through Missions Mobilisation Seminars (MMS).
   1. MMS creates a greater awareness of WHY missions among pastors & leaders. Awareness leads to vision.
   1. Mission Mobilization Seminars has 4 Modules (2h x 4 sessions, include Q&A): Biblical Foundation of Missions, UPGs: Vision for Missions, Roles of the Local Church: 5Gs, and Creative Approach to Missions: ILAW (Integrating Labour & Witness).
2. We need to collaborate.
   1. Vision trips for pastors. Pray. Build relationships. Work with the Next Gen. 
3. We need to change strategy from regional missions summits to targeting specific nations in order to impact more leaders.
4. From 2026, this team will focus on MMS and Goers seminars in the respective nations in SEA. We welcome the other regions to tap into these resources. We aim to build mobilizing and equipping teams to multiply trainers & mobilizers on all levels. 
5. Every mission director is expected to contribute by being a part of these teams.
