Resources and Tools for 30 Days of Prayer for Ramadan:
The Remaining Task in Religious Blocks.
The Remaining Task can be understood and accomplished by focusing on it from ‘Religious’ perspectives because majority of the lost and unreached are deeply engrossed in religious systems. Such systems blinds people from the Gospel due to spiritual darkness which keeps them in bondage.
“’And even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled in them that perish: in whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of the unbelieving, that the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should not dawn upon them . ‘
2 Corinthians 4:3-4
These bondages are strengthened at different times and seasons of religious feasts, festivals, pilgrimages or events. At such times their believers have a greater awareness and a heightened expectation of spiritual experiences – mainly for the supernatural!
However, these seasons are also times when the Holy Spirit can also bring spiritual encounters resulting from prayers of Christians.
Ramadan Focus in March.
Therefore in March, we focus on the Muslim world where followers of Islam worldwide observe ‘Ramadan,’ where they fast and pray during 30 days.
To do that, we make available to you Prayer Resources below, developed by different ministries who have for many decades have mobilized Christians for united and focused prayer for the Muslim people.
However, before that, here are some facts you need to know about Islam and Muslims as intercessors:
Why Pray for the Muslim World?
Islam is the world’s second most widely practiced religion. It is also one of the fastest growing religions having approximately 1.7 billion followers. Their religion is based on the Quran, a religious text that followers of Islam believe is the direct word of God. Muhammad is considered the last Prophet of God and the majority of believers adhere to his teachings.
The Followers of Islam are called Muslims.
